I met Vikki at a fair recently and fell in love with her work. This beautiful embroidered and hand-painted brooch closely resembles the real thing and is a perfect gift for nature lovers.

As these brooches are all handmade, they are all a little bit different, but all equally beautiful. The Bees are quite flexible and robust and some bending of the wings is natural when you wear them. The wings can easily be reshaped by hand, either by flattening or by squeezing the top wings together to enhance the three-dimensional look. As a general guide, avoid submerging your bee in water or subjecting to high temperatures or prolonged periods of direct sunlight.
