I’m afraid my photos of these pieces of art do not do them justice. They are truly stunning. They are handmade by the embroidery artist Vikki Lafford-Garside, who also makes our brooches for us.

These embroidered and hand painted butterflies are based on Kaiser-i-hind and Green Birwing butterfly. The Birdwing has been made exclusively for us at That Girl In Green.

They are made from faux suede and cotton organdie. The detail is all embroidered and hand painted and the antennae are made from wire. They are mounted on heavyweight textured paper and card, in a black painted wooden and glass box frame. The window of the frame measures 6 inch square.

Due to the hand crafted nature of this butterfly, some very slight variations may occur.
