These lovely earrings feature beautifully handmade origami cranes made specially for us by a talented UK based origami artist. Each crane is a miniature sculpture, individually handcrafted from traditional Japanese handmade Chiyogami paper using tiny, delicate folds. They are finished with three coats of a protective, water based non toxic sealer which makes them surprisingly durable and water resistant (but avoid wearing them in the shower or other extremely wet environments). The earwires are sterling silver.
